 During the Woche der Sonne, a Germany-wide informative event concerning solar energy, AS Solar was present once again as an exhibitor at the Solarfest 2009 in Hannover. In spite of the unsettled weather on Sunday, May 17th 2009, numerous visitors enjoyed a festive event with many interesting attractions between 11.00 am and 6 pm. The bike rally with more than a thousand participants, the race with solar powered bobby cars and the ten kilometer regional run were only a few of the festival’s many highlights. While the cheerleaders of the HCV and live rock music provided the artistic entertainment, solar powered sausage cookers, the solar café as well as various other stands supplied a multitude of culinary enjoyments. The AS Solar stand received great interest. Our staff informed the visitors about effective photovoltaic concepts, innovative solar thermal systems and modern pellet systems.
