MG 8945 1024Representatives from Panasonic and AS Solar visited their joint project in Berlin, showing enthusiasm and contentment. The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning had counted on the extensive know-how of the two PV experts for the new construction of a PV plant on top of the roof of an additional building. The energy professionals provided high quality Panasonic HIT modules for the zero-energy house that is to meet its energy needs on-site completely through renewable energy generation. Mr. Masahiro Ido, Vice President of Panasonic Eco Solutions Company, came to Berlin with his colleagues to get an image of this exceptional plant.

AS Solar supplied 281 pieces of H250 modules from Panasonic, which are, due to the special HIT technology with a module efficiency of 18.0%, far more effective than an average poly-crystalline module. The increased efficiency, combined with a module size which is below the market average, means a higher power output even for small areas.
The installation of the pioneering Panasonic modules was taken over by the Wahl Elektro-Technik GmbH from Berlin and took three days in total.
