KfW1 Programme “Generating Solar Current” All sponsors of investments in the installation, enlargement or purchase of small photovoltaic systems (private individuals who use the produced energy solely to meet their own needs, self-employed professionals and small and medium-sized private commercial enterprises) are eligible to apply for the programme “Generating Solar Current”, provided their installations comply with the standards of the EEG2. Commercially operated installations requiring a loan of more than €50,000 can be co-financed by the ERP Environmental Protection and Energy Saving Programme and the KfW Environmental Protection Programme.
The KfW Infrastructure Programme supports the financing of photovoltaic plants and is available to municipal companies and non-profit organisations.
