Since July 12 2010 the BAFA restarted subsidizing solar thermal and
biomass plants as part of their market stimulus program via a new
guideline.
The basic subsidiary for solar thermal systems now
amounts to 90,- €/m² (45,- €/m² if the system is expanded). Liable for
subsidiaries are solar collector systems up to 20 m² gross collector
area for a combination of hot water generation and heating support or
for process heat generation. Systems for combined hot water generation
and heating support have to have a minimum gross collector area of 9 m²
(7 m² with AS-CPC and AS-EVK)
and a minimum storage volume of 40 liters (50 liters) per m² gross
collector area. Collector systems that only serve for hot water
generation as well as systems in newly erected buildings receive no more
subsidiaries. Applications need to be filed after the system
commissioning.
