PV-Interface: New PV Monitoring Module |
 In the summer of 2008 AS Solar launches a new extension for its PV system monitoring system AS ControlPV: the PV-Interface. The module allows a direct readout of a multitude of inverters. It is also possible to monitor, apart from the energy output, the AC and DC electricity and voltage. The inverters’ status and error reports permit a direct analysis and thus allow for an exact error containment already at the PC.
The module, originally intended as an extension for the PV-Station, has two separate RS485 interfaces and a LAN connection. Unlike other systems the PV-Interface is able to readout inverters of different producers that are used in one system at the same time.
In the course of 2008 the extension module will also be available for the AS ControlPV BasicSet.
