After a successful beta phase the demand for the low cost photovoltaics monitoring system PV-Interface by AS Solar GmbH is continually high. The device transmits data every five minutes to the internet so that it is globally possible to access yield and system data in real-time. The transmission occurs optionally either via DSL or GSM; all software updates are installed fully automatic. A single PV-Interface can monitor up to 200 inverters by different manufacturers simultaneously and since the system is modularly expandable through the integrated CAN bus it also reliably analyzes large scale plants. If several devices are interconnected photovoltaic plants with any number of inverters can be monitored and analyzed as a single system. The PV-Interface will also be available with the display solution PV-View from summer 2009.
